Where are we Goin?

First of all I’d like to say I am saddened by the loss of the printed copy of FTW Magazine.  It was great while it lasted.  I am happy to know that it is continuing online.  Appreciation is sent to Silla  for keeping it going.  The schedule of events is very helpful to the success of all the motorcycle events in Northern Michigan and bike related businesses all summer long.

I would also invite all of you to interact with me directly online by becoming a Facebook fan of Krusty.  It’s real easy. All you have to do is go to Facebook and type Krusty in the search engine.  There you can leave me feedback on my Krusty’s Korner articles from FTW Magazine and give me YOUR opinions on my articles.  I always welcome positive or negative feedback on my articles.

If you’re like me, you are really jonesin’ to ride.  It’s always a long winter when we live in Northern Michigan.  You should also be planning your summer rides.  I’m going to ride the California coast if all goes right.  So let’s get with it people.  It’s time to start making plans.  Don’t do what I see a lot of people do after they’ve been riding for a few years and lose interest.  You have to psych yourselves up for some disciplined riding.  You will always be glad you did.  There’s always a million reasons why you can’t take that trip or plan that ride.  Priorities!  Keep them in line.  Your bike is your priority! Well… you know what I mean.

Lately I’ve been getting some bad feelings about our beloved country called the good ole USA.  Do you people over 45 (baby boomers) and many others I’ve been talking to lately get the feeling that our country is in serious danger?  Lately I am getting that feeling far too often.  I never really used to care about politics until I started hearing some of the crazy things I’ve been hearing lately.  Did you know if you are “TOO PATRIOTIC” you could be labeled as a domestic terrorist by the Federal Government?  Yes…  it’s true so believe it.  Patriotism is a sensitive topic these days.  Many patriotic Americans who wish to preserve our constitution are now being labeled as extremists and many other names I won’t bother to mention.  Is trying to preserve the constitution of the United States, and the beliefs of people like George Washington, and Ben Franklin really extremism?  I don’t think so.

 Frankly I could care less if you are liberal, conservative, Republican or Democrat.  I’m an independent, and I’m all over the board depending on the issue.  so there !  BUT…We are all supposed to be Americans!  I don’t care what race you are or what social group you are a part of.   There are some things we as Americans need to preserve.  Since when do we charge navy seals with “Seal Brutality” after capturing a top terrorist leader in Afghanistan?  Afghan terrorists are not US citizens.  This infuriates me.  Do you have any idea how many American lives this idiot is responsible for ending?  It’s not like arresting a shoplifter.  They are enemy combatants, and the only reason they were not killed and were instead captured is for the Intel we can beat or water board out of them!  The Seals and other soldiers are laying down their lives to protect our freedoms and our way of life.  They have and are continuing to liberate millions of people in the world from oppression and dictatorships.   Prosecuting the Seals is absolutely absurd, and anyone who sides with the terrorists are F***ing traders and deserve the same fate as the terrorists!  Even if you gave them the benefit of the Geneva convention, they still do not have the same rights in court as American citizens, but these cowards can’t wear a uniform so they don’t deserve shit!

Sometimes I wonder who in fact ALL the enemies of America are?  You guessed it.  Many are right here in our country living as so called “citizens”.  They disguise themselves as lawyers, leaders, and politicians. Don’t get me wrong.  Not all of them are evil, but many are.  We need to identify and expose them and root them out.  Stand up to them in conversations when you come across them.  These people disgust me.  We who value OUR America and the principles America was founded on, and not what many would like to change it into NEED to get out and vote or we WILL lose this country to socialism.  Yes, I said it. Socialism.  It doesn’t work.  “From the government, here to help you” ya right!  NO THANKS!  Find out what your politician’s stance’s are on the issues and VOTE!  It’s our most precious freedom!
